Tom brings vast knowledge of real estate development and construction to Foxtail Real Estate Company and its clients.
After completing his Bachelor of Architecture degree from The University of Kansas in 2009 and subsequently, his Masters of Environmental Design from Michigan State University in 2011, Tom moved to the Pacific Northwest, where he managed a design and construction team building golf courses all over the world. The golf industry took Tom to multiple continents, but in early 2014, he moved back to Lawrence to reconnect with his love of urban planning, infill development and adaptive reuse of historic buildings. Here, Tom has been fortunate to develop a network and sharpen his expertise in all facets of real estate management and development.
More specifically, Tom has worked with a variety of lenders, investors and syndicators on over $21M worth of development totaling more than 500,000SF of commercial and residential property. Tom's understanding of how to manage all phases of a project allowed his expertise to extend to:
Affordable Housing Tax Credits
State and Federal Historic Tax Credits
Grant Applications and Awards
Navigating Zoning, Entitlements, and other state and municipal development processes
Stabilizing both Residential and Commercial projects
This foundation has set up Foxtail Real Estate Company for an extensive offering of services in the local real estate market. Combine Tom's background with that of the Foxtail Team and you can be confident that your investment will be in good hands.
